Baldwin's Imagination Station
The Imagination Station is growing in excitement, popularity, and imagination. The possibilities are endless and begin with imagination!
Thank you to the anonymous donor who has just enabled the Imagination Station to grow in new and exciting ways. So many ideas...shall we build a Lego Wall? Maybe buy our own 3D printer? Thank you for providing options.
FYI: Right now we are collecting plastic bottle caps for a school wide project in the spring that we will create in collaboration with the art classes.
On March 10th, the Imagination Station welcomed Angelina Carnevale from the Guilford Free Library to give the Makers: Technology Club a 3D-printing clinic.

The Baldwin Imagination Station is a destination for 5th and 6th grade students to explore passions and interests, experiment with physical and virtual tools and resources, and create items limited only by their own imagination.
The Imagination Station is closely aligned with the idea of a “Maker’s Space” or “Tinkering Area”, where people gather to create, invent and learn. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education is a nationwide focus and the Imagination Station opens up opportunities for Baldwin Middle School students to discover new interests and abilities or pursue existing passions.
Within the BMS Imagination Station we have resources of every type: low-technology
(origami, duct tape, drawing, Legos, etc.), medium-technology (circuitry, Legos robotics), and high-technology (computers, robotics, programming, etc.).
Our faculty, parents, and students have already begun brainstorming ideas and donating supplies for additional resources.
